Imaging Diagnostics was founded on a simple conviction: a camera should be more than a device that captures images. Our founder recognized — well before intelligent imaging became mainstream — that cameras could evolve into smart sensors capable of processing, analyzing and interpreting visual information in real time.
In 2007, we were among the first companies anywhere to bring USB-based smart camera technology to market — combining imaging, onboard processing power and application-specific intelligence within a single platform. By integrating DSP capability with deep image-processing expertise, our early systems were already supporting ophthalmic diagnostics, medical imaging, disease detection, facial recognition, industrial inspection and diamond analysis.
That founding idea — the camera as an intelligent sensor, not a passive component — still guides everything we design today.
